I have my second roller derby show tomorrow, as in vending- not bone bending, and I am so excited!  I had such a great time at the last bout!  And to boot it's a double header- charging the camera batteries now!!  Woooo Hooooooooo!

When I first seen this thread, I thought you were going to be cracking people in the face with your elbows and skating around. I'm sure vending is just as fun though

I have been asked if I was interested in selling at the bouts I go to but I feel a bit strange selling at an event like this.  I figure people  don't really go to RD to shop ya know?  I know I don't! LOL

i just had another bout last night and it was amazing.  and yes, when the ladies see my stuff; they like to shop and rock my gear at the shows.

That's awesome!! Make sure you get a picture of the whole team wearing your stuff!! That would be sweet for promotion!!!

you know i need to set something up seperately for that.  the shows are always so crazy!

We have had vendors in the past, and other leagues have vendors as well.

Try and gear some items towards the skaters if possible, maybe make a few items with the teams/leagues colors, or you could offer yourself to do custom work for the team.

roller derby is very DIY and it goes great with indie crafters!
