Directions:
1.Unroll a tube of refrigerated breadstick dough and separate the rectangular pieces.
2.Working with one piece at a time, stretch the dough to lengthen it abit and then use kitchen scissors or a knife to cut a 11/2-inch slit inthe center of each end.
3. Roll or shape the resulting four flaps of dough into knobs that look like the ends of a bone.
4.Place the dough bones on an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them a fewinches apart, and sprinkle on a little coarse salt. Bake the bonesuntil they are light golden brown, about 12 minutes.

Ingredients:
Salt- On Hand!
One package of tortilla shells (get wholewheat you undernutritionalized devil, you!)- $3.00
Nocternal Animal Cookie Cutter [ we chose bats. You can always hunt for a raccoon cutter or something if bats don't float your boat] , Found here, here and here- for $.99 - $2.00.
TOTAL: $4.00-$5.00
Directions
1- Lay out tortillas on flat surface. Cut out bat shapes with newly aquired cookie cutter.
2- (Bad for you method) Cover surface of skillet with 1 1/2 inches of oil. Bring to a sizzle and drop bats in, turning to brown. When the bats begin to curl, stiffen and darken, pull them out and throw them on a plate covered with paper towel. Sprinkle with salt. Serve hot with salsa or Our Marinara Recipe, or Cheesey Dip, below.
2.1-(Good for you method) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with pam, and plaed the bats evenly spaced on the sheet and sprinkle with salt. Cook for five minutes, flipping if needed, or until bats are crispy and darkened in the middle. Serve warm with salsa or Our Marinara Recipe, Or Cheesy Dip, below.
Spinach Dip of Doom:

Alright so there is no perticular reason why this is spinach dip of doom. it's just spinach dip. To make it eeires, I guess you could say that it's zombie brains. Or, I've also seen variations where you cut a jack-o-lantern face out of the surface of pumperknickel loaf before serving.
Ingredients:
1 or 2 Round Pumperknickel Loaves. (don't like Pumperknickel? Spinach Dip also tastes good with Sourdough bread) - $4.00
Knorr Packaged Vegetable Soup Mix: - $1.50
No Name Container of Sour Cream - $2.00
2 Cups Mayo- $3.00 (for a jar of hellmans)
1 Package of Frozen Chopped Spinach - $1.50
TOTAL: $10.00
Directions:
1. Mix together Two cups of Mayo with entire Sour Cream container in a mixing bowl.
2. Add and mix in Vegetable soup Mix. Defrost and Drain Spinach. Mix into Dip.
3. Chill for at leat 1 hour before serving.
4. Hollow out Pumperknickel loaf and tear up inner bread into dippable pieces. Tear up second loaf as well.
5. When dip is ready to serve, spoon into hollowed out pumperknickel loaf.
*Less guilty option: Use reduced fat sour cream and mayo, and add only have of the Knorr soup mix to cut back on sodium.

Spider Pretzels
Ingredients: 1 Box Ritz Crackers- $2.50
1 bag of Pretzel Sticks - $3.00
1 Jar of Peanut Butter - $4.00
*optional* raisins.
1. Take ritz cracked and spread with peanut Butter.
2. lace 8 pretzel sticks and evenly space them on each side for legs.
3. Cover with another ritz cracker.
4. Optional- Dip raisins in peanut butter and place on for eyes.
Bloody Marinara Dip
Ingredients: 2 Tsp of Olive Oil
1 Tsp of minced Garlic
1 can of Diced Tomatoes, undrained
1 Onion, chopped.
Directions:
1. Cook olive oil, onions and garlic in heavy saucepan for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Add Can of tomatoes, undrained, and salt if desired. Simmer uncovered, and stir occasionally until sauce thickens. About 1 hour.
3. Serve hot or cold.
*PS- this dip is also Great on Pasta!
Killer Con Queso
Ingredients:
1 brick Velveeta Cheese. $6.00
1 Jar Salsa - $4.00
*optional* chillies or jalepino peppers.
TOTAL: $10.00
Directions:
1. In a sauce pan, slowly melt velveeta cheese until creamy.
2. Mix in salsa mix, continuing to cook on low.
3. Dice up chillies or jalepinos and mix them in.
4. Serve warm with nachos or pita chips.
5. when dip thickens again, nuke in the microwave for 30 seconds and reserve. Works great as a fondue!
