CreepyQueenMagazine has an opening for 2 official staff positions. These are volunteer positions (with perks!), and the chosen staff members must commit for at least one year.

 

If you are interested in any of the available positions below, please email creepyqueen[at]live[dot]com with any experience, qualifications, applicable websites, and the position you are applying for.


POSITION: STREET TEAM LEADER

 

DESCRIPTION: In order to organize the street team, keep it active, effective, and flowing with participation, CQM is looking for a staff member to work solely on the team.


DUTIES: +Hosting a CreepyQueenTeam chat on etsy once a month, preferably on a set date, with a set time of 2-4 hours. This leader must stay active and present for the duration of the chat, and promote the team to non-members and etsy shoppers, as well as to recruit more site and team members.

+ Posting at least 2 blog posts a month with product features of team members' shop items.

+Keeping in contact with team members, and checking team shops periodically to make sure they are active and using the appropriate tags and mentioning CreepyQueen in their shop header.

+Answering any questions or concerns about the team to members and non members.

+Moderating and frequently updating and posting content in the new Street Team section of the forum that will be created shortly.

+ Report all team updates, members, sales, themes, chat dates and times, and any other team plans to creepyqueen[at]live[dot]com at least once a month, or whenever you would like a tweet sent out, the site updated, the facebook page updated, or the team etsy page updated.

+ As a team leader, you also have the liberties (but are not required to ) to organize monthly team 'themes' where team members create items in a theme for a blog product feature, promotion in the chat, and in etsy treasuries.

+ You may also organize team sales, specials and promotions.


PERKS: +You will be prominently featured as a staff member on the 'about' page with a shop link.

+Your etsy username and shop will be prominently displayed at the CreepyQueenstreet team member page on etsy as one of the' team leaders' so that members and hopefuls may contact you, as well as find your shop.

+You may be rewarded with free ads on the website and in the magazine for outstanding participation and dedication.



POSITION: MAGAZINE EDITOR


DESCRIPTION:As the first issue of CreepyQueen Magazine is released, we organize for the release of our second issue, and any further issues to be released. The magazine will be released twice a year. In January and July.


DUTIES: + Organizing the photo spread and cover shoot with a student, DIY, or upcoming photographer.

+Creating Two Themed Product Features, with handmade items. Each feature should include at least 8 items. Only collect images with plain backgrounds, and large files only.

+  Interview and collect high quality photos of interesting and  unique artists, crafters, and independant business owners.

+ Write at least One Article yourself - whether a business article, recipe, style trends, etc.

+ Find interesting shops, websites, products, sales, and discounts for the CreepyQueen 'Hot Sheet' regular feature.

+Contacting CQ once a month via email or the chat system with any updates, ideas, what you're working on currently, and any finished interviews and features with photographs.

 

This position does not require any graphic design work special programs or layout creating. You just need to send all required word documents and images to creepyqueen[at]live[dot]com for each article and feature.

+Your Name and a shop link will be prominently displayed on theCreepyQueenMagazine Contributers page as an editor in the issue.

+You will receive one free issue of each magazine you contribute to.

+You may be rewarded with free ads on the website and in the magazine for outstanding participation and dedication.
